Spinach Strawberry Banana Smoothie is packed full of greens and a great starter smoothie for someone who is new to smoothie making.
With the first day of spring passing last week I decided I want to try and make more smoothies for breakfast. Whenever the weather starts to warm up I find myself experimenting more with smoothies. Welcome, spinach strawberry banana smoothie. Not a fan of spinach? Try this Blueberry Greek Yogurt Smoothie.
I am not one of those people who LOVE green smoothies. I try to love them. However, with this recipe I really did like it. You don’t taste any greens and it just sweet enough thanks to the strawberries. This spinach strawberry banana smoothie is a keeper. You probably already have the ingredients in your refrigerator, so what are you waiting for?
Spinach Strawberry Banana Smoothie
serving size: 1 smoothie
- 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 cup spinach, packed
- 1 banana
- 3-4 strawberries, stemmed and halved
- 3-4 ice cubes
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Transfer to a glass and drink immediately.
-You can use frozen fruit but just skip the ice. I only had fresh fruit on hand.
-If your blender blades are dull your smoothie might be a little darker in color.
-This may not be sweet enough for you, if so add honey.
This spinach strawberry banana smoothie would also be perfect at any brunch. With Easter this weekend I hope this inspires you to try making your own smoothies.
